SOTI MobiControl offers a location services feature which allows you to track your device. You can generate reports about the location history of a device at 1-minute, 5-minute, 10-minute and 60-minute intervals. You can also have reports generated on a daily or weekly basis.

SOTI MobiControl allows you to lockdown mobile devices to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive corporate apps, data and systems, while maintaining regulatory compliance with policies like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). You can also remotely wipe devices should they become lost or stolen. SOTI MobiControl also employs policy-based file encryption that uses FIPS 140-2 validated AES-256 encryption algorithms. SOTI MobiControl is an enterprise mobile management solution designed to manage, secure and support corporate devices. SOTI MobiControl can track the location of managed devices if this feature is enabled by the organization. Tracking is limited to devices that are enrolled and managed by the organization.

SOTI MobiControl provides IT Admins visibility and control over enrolled and managed devices to help secure and support them. What SOTI MobiControl can access depends on the device operating system and the policies configured by the IT Admin. Common information and data may include:

No, SOTI MobiControl does not have the capability to record audio from managed devices.

If it’s a corporate-owned or locked-down device, removal is often prevented and requires IT support or a factory reset (which may be restricted). Always check with your IT department before attempting removal to avoid violating policies or losing access to important services.

SOTI MobiControl can track the location of managed devices, which indirectly allows tracking of the user carrying those devices.
